Advanced Management Programme for Professionals in Aviation and Aeronautics – Batch 01 [AMPPAA-BL01]
The Advanced Management Programme for Professionals in Aviation and Aeronautics (AMPPAA) aims to impart general and advanced management training as well as essential technical skills specifically curated for senior and mid-level professionals working in aviation, aeronautics, and a wide range of allied industry sectors.
Course Duration: Spread over Six Months
Mode of Delivery:
The programme will be delivered on VCNow platform through direct-to-desktop [D2D] held once a week and campus modules at IIM Ahmedabad & ENAC (Subject to government regulations)
Frequency: Once a week
Class Schedule: Every Saturday: 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM (IST)
Certification:
At the end of the course, eligible participants will receive a Certificate of Participation (CoP) of the programme from IIM Ahmedabad and ENAC subject to fulfilment of attaining overall 80% attendance.
IIMA & ENAC Alumni Status:
Alumni status can be awarded by both IIM Ahmedabad and ENAC subject to fulfilment of attaining overall 80% attendance criteria and all the terms and conditions of the programme.
Selection: Selections will be based on evaluation of individual profile & Statement of Purpose (SoP)

- To develop a strong conceptual understanding of all functional areas of management such as strategy, marketing, operations, finance, human resource management, communication and policy, and be able to apply theories and techniques for effective decision-making, transformative leadership, and innovation in the sector.
- To acquire knowledge of emerging topics relevant to business growth and policymaking in the aviation and aeronautics sector such as sustainability and ESG, drones and UTM, aircraft manufacturing, airline management, airport operations and logistics, legal and regulatory issues, infrastructure development and financing, big data applications, and IT strategy.

The pedagogy will be highly interactive. It will consist of a judicious blend of lectures, real life case studies, quizzes and assignments and international immersion.
The programme is most suited for senior and mid-level professionals working in the aviation and aeronautics sector, broadly defined. Technical professionals in the sector who desire to take on management roles in the future are also encouraged to attend. The programme is suitable for entrepreneurs and leaders/managers of small and medium enterprises in the sector as well.
