We are delighted to welcome you to the 2nd AIM-AMA Sheth Foundation Doctoral Consortium. We extend our greetings to the Consortium Fellows who are preparing to embark on an exciting new phase in their careers and to the Consortium Faculty who are investing time and energy in the future of our discipline.

The Doctoral Consortium originally conceptualized in 1966 in the U.S has provided an invaluable platform for aspiring doctoral students across leading universities to further their development through interactions with leading academics from around the globe. This is the second time the American Marketing Association and the Sheth Foundation is holding the consortium outside of North America with the support of the Academy of Indian Marketing.

The theme for the 2nd AIM-AMA Sheth Foundation Doctoral Consortium is Marketing in Emerging Markets consistent with the theme of focussing on Emerging markets.

The vision of the event is to create an environment that brings together current eminent scholars and future talented scholars. Consistent with this vision, we will have a number of events ranging from formal presentation to informal social interactions, with the ultimate aim of maximising interactions.

We welcome you to the 2nd AIM-AMA Sheth Foundation Doctoral Consortium and to the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
