INDIAN INSTITUE OF MANAGEMENT, AHMEDABAD

Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA), was established in 1961, as an autonomous institution by the Govt. of India in collaboration with the Govt. of Gujarat and Indian Industry. Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, a noted scientist and industrialist, other Ahmedabad-based industrialists (led by Mr. Kasturbhai Lalbhai), and the Govt. of Gujarat played a major role in the creation of the Institute.
Rated as India’s best and Asia’s foremost business school, IIMA continues to be ranked as one of the finest institutions in the world having an academic rigour that matches the top league. IIMA became the first Business School in India to receive the EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) accreditation by the European Foundation for Management Development which has subsequently been renewed in 2012. CENTRE FOR MANAGEMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES

Centre for Management of Health Services (CMHS) was setup in June 2004 in recognition of IIMA’s contributions to the health sector in the past and the felt need to strengthen the management of health sector in the context of socio- economic developments of our country. The overall objectives of CMHS are to address the managerial challenges in the delivery of health services to respond to the needs of different segments of our population efficiently and effectively, build institutions of excellence in the health sector, and influence health policies and wider environments.

Indian Institute of Public Health, Gandhinagar (IIPHG)

Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar (IIPHG) was set up in 2007 by the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) and the Government of Gujarat as a joint initiative. IIPHG is a pioneer institute in public health education, training, research, and advocacy. The institute has been recognised as the first public health university in India (under IIPHG Act, 2015, of Gujarat State). IIPHG has a number of collaborations and MOU for research and projects with organizations/ institutes of repute in India and abroad, and with various Government partners.
