As…A drama-thriller, directed by Antonio Campos, starring Brady Corbett, focusing on an American in Paris, following a breakup with his girlfriend, and an increasingly sinister link with a prostitute, it is 100 minutes long.I'd consider myself very much fond of fractured masculinity and male character studies, so I was hoping that this rewatch of Simon killer would have been worthwhile. And what happens when our prime inferior gets away from us? Simon Killer. Ultimately, I didn't feel like I learned anything or truly understood why Simon does what he does. The film follows his descent into the hell of the Parisian underground of hard-R rated sex and blackmail. The audiovisual aspect knows a great execution with lots of great framing, tracking shots, colorful lighting, fancy filters and some killer soundtracks like Antonio Campos’ latest is significantly more accomplished and successful than his strained debut feature, The portentous title immediately creates an anticipation for the events that will follow.
