The PedSTAR block offers each intern 4 weeks without clinical responsibilities to receive intensive advocacy training in the state capital, then hands-on instruction in developing a research project, followed by numerous team building and skills workshops and finally the mentorship to select and execute a longitudinal project over your 3 year residency.Our alumni have a proven track record of success with approximately half of our graduates pursuing General Pediatrics or Hospitalist Medicine, while the other half pursue fellowships at major centers around the country.
