(File Photo)ALBANY — Theatre Albany’s 2018-19 season is quickly approaching, with auditions for its first show of the season beginning on July 7.Dianne Giddens, the guest director for the first show, said that Theatre Albany will kick off its season with a performance of “The Music Man.” The famous musical tells the story of a con man by the name of Professor Harold Hill, who comes to town pretending to be a band organizer and is selling instruments with the promise of teaching the townsfolk how to play.“The story is of a con man who comes to town falsely promising to train musicians,” Giddens said.
