For centuries political communication has excited researchers and politicians, alike. Questions as - What makes an electoral campaign successful? What/Who are the enablers and facilitators? How are workers managed and motivated for a common cause? What is the message and on which platform should it be delivered? Can negative campaigns damage political reputation? What is the role of communcation?– have been debated and discussed for years and still not lost their relevance. More so,  with changing technologies and demographics these questions have once again surfaced creating need and space for academic interventions.

The underlying principles of success can, we contend, be gleaned through an understanding of this phenomenon through management principles. For instance, the art of winning over the intended supporters, effective resource management and communication. At his juncture of global political (in)stability when rapid movement of information, even misinformation, has become a reality, it is critical to debate processes of transforming the very art of winning voters.

Borrowing from the field of management this programme deliberates on communication techniques and strategies deployed by businesses to manage, align and segment stakeholders for better targeting. Further, it exposes the candidates to the future of democratic communication – understanding the neurosciences of the human mind and mass hypnotism as an effective tool to create sustainable influence on its target voters.
