The 3 rd IIMA HR Leadership Conclave on The Future of Work, Workforce & Learning
IIMA organized its third conclave in the IIMA HR Leadership Conclave Series on September 7, 2018 at The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace, Raheja IT Park, HITEC City, Madhapur titled as “The Future of Work, Workforce & Learning”. The objective of the conclave was to share the work which IIMA and IIMA Faculty does through various offerings of Executive Education in the context of learning and development as well as to listen and to learn from the industry leaders in the same context. Keeping in mind the humongous changes which the world is going through and so is the nature of the work, the theme for this year’s conclave was kept as “Disruptions & Learning”.
The Conclave hosted two panel discussions on very contemporary themes. The first one was on “Building a Design Thinking Culture in the Organization” and the second one was on “Leadership Development for Successful Digital Transformations”. Varied experiences and insights were shared in the first Panel Discussion on Design Thinking ranging from processes, employee engagement in MNCs as well as in startups which was possible due to varied background of the speakers. It was made more intriguing by the Panel Members and the Moderator through their way of dealing queries by invitees which motivated them to put forth their views without any hesitance. Second Panel Discussion was marked by the innovative and strategic digital initiatives taken by Organizations like L&T and BPCL which were shared by Speakers which inspirited leaders to take cues for the similar kind of implementation in their organization. The conference was attended by 125 HR & L&D professionals representing various companies, sectors and industries which marked the success of this event. They actively participated in the Panel Discussion during Question & Answer round.
