His teaching interests are in managerial communication skills and strategies. He designs and conducts training workshops in different aspects of oral and written communication for middle, senior, and top managers. His current research interests are in persuasion, bad news delivery, and leader communication. His books for managers include ‘The Craft of Business Letter Writing,’ ‘Business Communication Strategies,’ Business Communication: Principles to Practice (all three published by McGraw Hill, New Delhi) and ‘The Persuasive Manager’ (Random House, New Delhi). His co-authored book, ‘Academic Writing’ (Sage, New Delhi) is a guide for management students and researchers.
