Ravichandran Venkatraman

Ravi is a Leader with a proven track record spanning 30+ years having worked in India, London and Bahrain. Leading large, remote, multicultural teams, developing and executing business relevant strategies and developing key talent are Ravi’s core competencies.

 

This, he has demonstrated on complex assignments covering Accounting, Auditing, Consulting, Banking and Shared Services. Ravi has successfully managed starting up, growing and maintaining businesses, managing P&Ls and Cost Centers, Front Line (Sales, Marketing), Product Development & Innovation, Consulting and Functional Experience such as Accounting, Business Finance, Operations, Technology and Risk. Industry exposure includes Audit & Accounting Practice, Consulting (FMCG, Agriculture, Airlines, and Manufacturing), Government, Manufacturing, Technology and Banking.

 

In his role as Senior Vice President of HP’s Global Business Services, Ravi was responsible for developing the company’s shared services strategy and its global operating model. His scope of work included managing a multi-function shared service covering finance and accounting, human resources, supply chain, order management (product and services), marketing and communications. He lead a team of 18,000 people spread across 14 global centers and co-located in 58 countries including the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, Argentina, Brazil, UK, Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Poland, Romania, Bratislava, Sofia, Russia, Spain, Sweden, UAE, Egypt, Israel, India, China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Japan, Australia and Singapore, among others.

 

Ravi joined Hewlett Packard from ANZ Bank’s global back office where he was the Managing Director, responsible for managing a team of over 5000 in technology and operations.

 

Ravi is currently the Director & Co-Founder of Floretz Academy which manages 2 Montessori Schools in Bangalore. He is the Founder of Alive Consulting that is in to Leadership Consulting and is a Trustee in eVidyaloka, an NGO in to remote education for rural children in India.
