Niteen Bhagwat is Executive Director & CEO of Asterii Analytics which is building marketing analytics capability in the agency.
In a career spanning 30 years Niteen has handled assignments in advertising, marketing, sales and projects. Niteen started his career with JWT and shifted to marketing to be a member of the brand management team at Lakme (Unilever). His love for Advertising and consulting brought him back to advertising and the Draftfcb Ulka group where as CEO of Interface communications; he helped build Interface from a two person company to a top 10 agency with over 120 people.
Over the years Niteen has worked on brands covering services, packaged goods and durables. Brands that today are among the biggest in their category…. Birla White, Blue Star, Club Mahindra, Henkel, L’Oreal, Mahindra, Nivea, Oreo, Santoor, SBI, Scorpio, Sundrop, TCS, UltraTech, Voltas, Wipro among others.
Niteen is actively associated with management schools and is a visiting faculty at several business schools in Mumbai and Pune besides serving on the advisory board of some of the management institutes.
An active member of the Bombay Management Association “BMA” (which is probably the oldest management association in India) Niteen is the Vice President of BMA and will take over as the President next year.
An active interest in social causes has meant that Niteen is researching the area of “Cause Marketing” and how it can benefit organizations and the community. He is also focusing on developing knowledge and processes on the topic of “sustainability” and managing marketing and communications in this space.
A chemistry major Niteen did his post-graduation in management and is an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad (Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad).
