DESCRIPTION:5th IIMA International Conference on\nAdvances in Healthcare Management Services\nFebruary 14-16\, 2020\nIntroduction to Conference\n\nThe healthcare sector in the country and abroad has been in focus across academics\, practitioners and policymakers with several issues such as increasing cost of medical care\, narrative of patient empowerment\, the role of governments in healthcare financing and delivery\, the use (and abuse of Information & Communication Technology (ICT) amongst others.\n\nWith the objective of providing a platform to develop and disseminate knowledge base on theories and practices of healthcare management\, Center for Management of Health Services (CMHS) at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A) in collaboration with Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar (IIPHG) is organizing the 5th IIMA International Conference on Advances in Healthcare Management Services on 14th\, 15th and 16th Feb 2020. The conference intents to attract papers/ posters/ presentations on topics focused on but not limited to\n\n\tPolicy issues\, training requirement\, atrocities against doctors\, and other challenges faced by Human resource for health\n\tTransformative role that HR\, IT\, Marketing\, Operations\, Communication\, Finance\, Accounting\, OB\, and Strategic management can play in strengthening healthcare sector\n\tEfficiency\, effectiveness\, service quality\, technical quality\, and patient experience in health system\n\tDecision making and innovations in insurance\, pharmaceutical\, medical equipment\, and device manufacturing sector\n\tPublic Health Systems\, Universal Health Coverage\n\tData analytics\, and technology based innovations for evidence based decision making\n\tUse of ICT for enhancing health care services\n\tRole of CSRs\, NGOs\, and Public Private Partnership\n\tAccessible healthcare for marginalized and vulnerable population\n\tIssues in hospital management\, Management of network of hospitals.\n\tPublic Policy analysis\, Public health management\, Strategies\, and Innovations\n\tPatient empowerment\, patient centered care\, home based care\n\tInnovations in delivering preventive\, promotive\, and curative healthcare services\n\tIssues related to Communicable disease\, Non-Communicable disease\, Maternal & Child health\, Adolescent Health\, Environmental & Occupational Health.\n\n \n\nGuidelines for Paper/Poster Submission\n\nSubmissions focusing on various aspects of healthcare management are welcome. All submissions should be original and should not have been presented in another conference.
